A Soothing Tea For A Sore Throat


You can calm a soar throat with this soothing herbal tea. It contains ginger (helps with inflammation), licorice (thought to aid the immune system), echinacea (is an immune booster), goldenseal (fights bacteria) and honey (anti-bacterial and anti-microbial).

How To Make This Soothing Tea:

  • Chop the ginger root into fine pieces

  • Place the ginger, licorice root and water into a sauce pan, bring to a gentle boil. Cover and turn the heat down to low and allow to simmer for 20 minutes.

  • Pour into a cup and add the echinacea and goldenseal tinctures.

  • Add the honey.


Drink one cup every three hours to sooth your throat.
