Apple Crisp

A Delightful Sweet Treat
6-8 Cooking Apples
1 Cup Cider or Apple Juice *
1/4 teaspoon. Cinnamon
1/2 Cup Coconut Flour
1 Cup Almond Flour
1 Cup Rolled Oats
Pinch of salt
1/2-1 Cup Walnuts
1/2 Cup Avocado Oil, Coconut oil, or Butter (you can use a combination to equal the 1/2 Cup) **
1/3 Cup pure Maple Syrup
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
Step 1
Peel, core and slice apples into a 9 x 12 baking dish
Step 2
Mix the cinnamon with the sweet cider or apple juice and pour over the apples *
Step 3
Combine the flours, oats, sea salt and nuts into a large mixing bowl. Add the Oil, maple syrup and vanilla. Mix all together until crumbly. **
Step 4
Sprinkle the topping over the apples and press lightly with hands
Step 5
Bake @ 350F for about 40 minutes or until the top begins to bown and the apples are tender.
