Water to almost fill a pot or a crock pot
1 chopped Onion
3-4 Garlic cloves
1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar, per quart of water that was added
1 Tbsp dulse flakes (optional)
1/2 Tsp. black Pepper
1/2 Tsp. Salt
Bones ( knucklbones are especially good. ) *
4 chicken feet (Optional...I know, not everyone has access)
Any vegetable in your fridge that you may want to add. This is a good way to use up some of the less fresh ones.
*Bones with cartilage and tendons attached have more glucosamine to help benefit your bones and joints. Bones with a lot of marrow have more DHA fat.
Step 1
Adding all ingredients heat the a simmer. Allow to simmer from 4 hours to 2 days. If any foamy mater come to the top of the pot, just skim off.
Step 2
Allow to cool and then strain out the bones and vegetables.
