Cranberry Salad ~ Molded

Wonderful during the holidays!
2 cups of fresh Cranberries
2 cups of red cooking apples, chopped
2 Tbls Agar-Agar
1 1/2 cup Apple Cider
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
1 Cinnamon stick or 1/2 Tsp of Cinnamon
Grated Rind of 1 Lemon
Step 1
Wash Cranberries. Wash, peel and chop apples.
Step 2
Combine agar - ager, apple cider, maple syrup and cinnamon in a saucepan.
Step 3
Cook over medium hat until the agar-agar is dissoced. Add cranberries and apple and cook until the cranberries start poping, about 10 minutes.
Step 4
Remove from heat, mix throughly, remove cinnamon stick (if used), add lemon rind.
Steip 5
Pour into a 1 1/2 quart ring mold or mold in a flat dish. Chill for 2 hours or more pior to serving.
